Assuming that Obama lite/Romney is the other choice.
If we get Obama back, these newbie reps and senators will have something to push back against.
If we get Romney, they will be convinced to go along for the good of the party. Perhaps not all but many.
Romney will do nothing different from Obama. Perhaps not as much but basically on the same path.
OTOH, he is more competent so he might get more of the Romney/Obama goals passed.
If we can’t get real change in a candidate, I am thinking a Ron Paul but perhaps Sarah Palin might jump in, there is no advantage to getting rid of Obama.
There are advantages to keeping him.
It will give us a focus for House and Senate elections in 2014 and we might even get a real candidate in 2016.
