A tornado ripped through the Ann Arbor suburb of Dexter earlier tonight, doing substantial damage. In Ann Arbor, the floodwater was deep (my street was flooded), firefighters were injured, and apartments had to be evacuated.

I was not at home when it happened, but I could hear the hail stones pounding on the metal roof of the building I was in. Coco (who gets freaked out by storms) was pretty upset when I returned. So I might let her sleep in the bed tonight.
Until the latest storm, it had been such unseasonably lovely Spring weather that I’ve been delighted.
