One of the most difficult aspects of blogging on the road (typically from cafes with WiFi) is GLARE! Right now I am having trouble seeing my screen at all, much less reading what’s on it. Unless you score an indoor seat, the sunlight makes seeing a laptop screen nearly impossible. Even in the shade, because the reflectivity turns this thing into a mirror. I’m using my old reliable Dell Inspiron 700m, but light fighting is absolutely not one of its features.
As to trying to find the cursor on a page in this blinding light, forget it. Right now, it is as if I am staring at myself in a mirror trying to see what I am writing.
Perhaps I need to carry an umbrella.
