The Dog Didn’t Bark

You will note that despite their hatred of the Deep State, the “enemies” of the Deep State have nothing to say about the Drug War. The finance arm of the Deep State.

You will find that is true of all the major Deep State “haters”. Just to name a few on the right – Breitbart, The Conservative Tree House, Gateway Pundit. They never cover the Drug War as an arm of the Deep State.

The “dog didn’t bark”. Why?

legal drug deaths cigarettes 300,000+ alcohol 100,000+ prescription drugs 50,000+ illegal drugs 10,000. see the difference? that is why we don’t want to legalize heroin and fentinoyl.

The drug war definitely creates perverse incentives like all government interventions. The real question is what perverse incentives will be created if drugs were legalized? One of the things that worries me about drug legalization is that it creates an incentive for corporations to create new recreational addictive drugs. Another is the temptation of sin taxes by governments. The rumors I have heard is that the taxes are so high in California that the black market trade in marijuana still exists. Although there are good reasons for legalizing drugs, one does need to think of the consequences.

The consequences for keeping them illegal.

Drug Prohibition is socialism for criminals. Says Milton Friedman. Besides we learned that from Alcohol Prohibition.

And I ought to mention that you have been lied to. Drugs don’t cause addiction.

Dr. Lonny Shavelson found that 70% of female heroin addicts were sexually abused in childhood. http://powerandcontrol.blogspot.com/2004/09/heroin.html

Addiction is a symptom of PTSD. Look it up.

Ok, drugs only cause patterns of repetitive behavior that only look like addiction. Have you ever tried to give up smoking or known anyone who tried? Who you gonna believe, me or your lying eyes. 🙂

    Rick,

Do drugs cause obesity? Or is it food?

    Does alcohol cause alcoholism?

Or is there an underlying problem?

Addiction is a symptom of PTSD. Look it up.

You didn’t look it up did you?
