You may have heard about the resignation of General Mattis over policy differences.
There are a lot of theories about that. Here is mine:
Trump is in the process of keeping his promise of almost 30 years – to end the Drug War.
With Sessions (Jeff and Pete) gone and the Democrats in control of the House he can do that.
Do you suppose that was the policy difference?
Not all Republicans side with Rand Paul and Matt Gaetz. LOL.

I don’t think so. Mattis is a hawk, Trump is a dealer, and never the twain shall meet…
trump has replaced the war on drugs with a war on children. as long as you get your ganja right! an 8 year old child has died in ice custody. more children have died in nazi custody but were gaining on them!
Mattis seems committed to the forever war in the Middle East. I would love to hear how this is in U.S. national interest and worth American treasure and lives.
Captain, calm down, take your meds, and look up how many children were deliberately killed by nazis.

To prove there has been wrongdoing we need to check these children long before they get to the border.
Perhaps the Democrats would like to spend campaign funds on such a worthy measure.
I don’t think such a move could be stopped.
It isn’t just the Forever War in the Middle East, it is also opposing the Russians at every juncture.
It’s what Cold Warriors have done since before I was born, and I am older than dirt.
