I was born at the end of WW2 and remember the swagger of WW2 Vets. It was a better time. But the rot had already begun post WW1 with the “Peace Societies” that almost lost us WW2. There is a certain rot at the core that will need to be cleaned up before we can get our “balls” back.

libertarian conservatism in action! you pay the teachers as little as possible until they go on strike or quit and wonder why you only have man hating leftys who don’t care that they are working for chump change educating the little ones. in kansas they have so few teachers the legislature no longer requires a teaching certificate. here in arizona private charter schools have been hiring convicted sexual offenders. (they work cheap!) rules for public schools strict and low pay. charter schools lenient rules and salerys are gamed as legislature is trying to force public schools out of business. the retags were going to fire any striking teachers until they realized their was a 50% shortage in teachers and texas put up signs here saying fired for striking we will hire you immediately!
its not transponders its the koch brothers! they are now supporting corporate establishment democrats over republicans. these clinton democrats are being funded by donors to support free trade while populists purge the republican party of free traders.

I don’t see anything wrong with what Trump is doing. It is more than obvious that he is not using tariffs for protectionism. He is using them as a negotiating tactic.

To be a reserve currency you must run a trade deficit. Trump would like that deficit to be smaller. With the world awash in money that is not a bad idea.
If we had libertarian conservatives populating America we would eliminate all schools except reading, arithmetic, and writing up to grade 3. (My mother taught me to read at age 4). The internet can provide you a complete education at the cost of a connection.
Schools are obsolete and so are most teachers.

I read the whole first grade book out loud on my first day. They wanted to see if I could read. LOL.
Phonics. Which is how I taught all my kids to read by age 4.
Mom also taught my brother to read at age 4.
School is obsolete. Read Bucky Fuller “Education Automation” pub 1957 IIRC.
if I had a dime for every foolish person who claimed public schools were obsolete I would have the funding for my movie. (shameless plug) the alamo is avenged. in the 1980’s before the jap economy crashed the fools were telling us japanese schools were the future and our education system was obsolete. analogy. my grand mother who was born in 1900 was told by her grand mother who was born in1846 was told by he grand mother was born in 1789 that these were the end times and probably went further back then that!
