They Got The Wrong Cohen – Twice

I don’t know exactly what to make of this, but Stormy Daniel’s Lawyer Michael Avenatti got the wrong Michael Cohen in part of his release of Michael Cohen’s (Trump’s lawyer) financials (most of which have been verified).

Yes that is interesting. Except it is the second time such a mistake has been made.

Trump’s personal lawyer denies report of Prague meeting with Russians during campaign. There supposedly is evidence of a Michael Cohen visiting Prague. The Trump Lawyer Michael Cohen claims it was not him. There is some evidence of him being in California at the time (IIRC).

OK. Who ever is compiling the “evidence” made the same mistake twice. And the second time was much easier to prove. What are the odds of that happening if the people doing the “work” are even semi-competent?

Something is going on. I’m not sure what.

Thomas Wictor’s theory is Judas goats… people on Trump’s side convincing people to do stupid things which wind up helping Trump in the long run.

    Bob,

Thanks. A link to Wictor’s twitter showing (as of today) his Judas Goat remarks.

After giving the issue some thought – I think there is some guy being forced to do the searches and this is his way of signaling.

OTOH that this wasn’t vetted more closely by at least two layers of fact checkers is well. Odd.

Why would he bring up Viktor Vekselberg? That is just a reminder of Clinton.

I mean – if this is supposed to help the Dems it is either amateur hour or sabotage.

As an addendum, “Just because you’re paranoid,
doesn’t mean they aren’t after you.”
