I don’t see how the Democrats recover from this in time for the Nov. 2018 election. But never underestimate the Republican propensity to do something stupid in time for the election.

    IT says that it’s impossible to make anything idiot-proof, because idiots are so ingenious. I suspect the same thing applies in politics.
