Islam is full of ignorant fools like these. A good Islamic education consists of memorizing 280,000 Traditions of the Prophet. Which doesn’t leave much room for anything else. And any of them can issue a fatwah.

Maybe those people who denigrate evolution are not the worst such problem in the world.
I find it hard to get up in arms about those who denigrate evolution. The theory of evolution has been around for 150 years. It will stand or fall on its own merits. Thus far it has had little problem standing.
I also note that many Progs who put down those who don’t believe in evolution know very little themselves about biology- or any STEM subject,for that matter. Their having a hissy fit about Creationists or the like is simply virtue signaling.
