In case you haven’t realized it, I’m not into this election.
It is the most depressing election cycle I have seen in my life. I have zero enthusiasm. (Hence the lack of posts.)
As I’ve said several times, though, I’m anti-Hillary to the max. I would vote for Barack Obama over Hillary. Bernie Sanders over Hillary. Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, or John Kasich over Hillary. Etc. too: if “etc.” were running against Hillary, I’d be for ETC!
Obviously, enthusiasm is another matter.
But (if only because it’s so funny) I found this piece to be irresistible:
Ted Cruz says he barely knows John Boehner, who compared the presidential candidate to Lucifer. But the devil is in the details.
A Washington Post article from 1998 revealed that Cruz acted as Boehner’s attorney when the former Speaker of the House was the chairman of the GOP conference and engaged in a nasty spat with Democratic Rep. Jim McDermott of Washington.
The Lucifer comparison, BTW, had included another remarkable statement about Cruz from the man Cruz claims he barely knows:
“Lucifer in the flesh,” Boehner told Stanford’s David Kennedy, a history professor emeritus, according to the Stanford Daily. “I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life.”
I’m no Trump supporter, but I find Cruz’s claim that he barely knew John Boehner laughable in the extreme.
I was irritated enough to do a photoshop, but someone else has beaten me to it.
MORE: Almost as if on cue, Satanists are furious over Boehner’s metaphor:
When asked by the Friendly Atheist, Satanic Temple spokesman Lucien Greaves bashed Cruz.
“Cruz’s failures of reason, compassion, decency, and humanity are products of his Christian pandering, if not an actual Christian faith,” Greaves responded. “It grows tedious when pedophile priests and loathsome politicians are conveniently dismissed as Satanic, even as they spew biblical verse and prostrate themselves before the cross, recruiting the Christian faithful. Satanists will have nothing to do with any of them.”
The Satanic Temple is comprised of non-theistic activists who eschew religion and adhere to a set of humanistic tenets that promote compassion and reason.
Earlier this week, their Detroit chapter scuttled anti-abortion protests by performing street theater in macabre baby masks, wearing BDSM gear and denouncing “fetal idolatry.”
Got that?
OK, so let’s get to work!
Satan’s endorsement may turn out to be key.

Really? I haven’t been this enthusiastic in decades.
GIVE ME TRUMP!
And now Trump’s golfing buddy and RINO Boehner is calling Cruz the devil.
Can’t get any more establishment Republican than that. What used to be known as country club Republicans, Trump is the new Nelson Rockefeller.
Ted Cruz’ claim that he doesn’t know John Boehner, even though they often met in Congress and Cruz was Boehner’s lawyer, does seem to confirm Donald Trump’s claim that the problem with Ted Cruz is that he is a pathological liar.

CTL-F on Donald J. Trump: $100K to $250K to Hillary.
But I understand the attraction:
I can’t disagree with any of that. But it’s a hell of a crapshoot.
CapitalistRoader,
I have been enthusiastic about Trump. But as you know I have called electing him a crap shoot.
We know who owns the rest of the candidates. We have no concrete idea who is behind Trump. I place no stock in the “no one owns him” meme.
Maybe “America First” is cover for Israel.
Trump is owned by a secret cabal of Struldbrugs, Bavarian Illuminati, Rosicrucians, 39th degree hypermasons, Opus Dei, Bilderburgs, the Trilateral Commission, reptoids, protongs and the Queen’s favorite corgi.
back to the tranny hookers for randy ted!
Quit boasting about your date with Cruz.
