Some one asked if I would vote for Trump, and why? Here is my answer (revised and extended).
I HATE Hillary Clinton with a Purple Passion.
I voted Libertarian last time. And a few times before (Ron Paul ’88, Harry Browne ’00).
This time I want to vote AGAINST a candidate. I mean can you Imagine? A vaudeville comedian could be our next President. A certified clown.

Trump (and Sanders) is a symptom. His history and behavior are really not relevant.
For at least 30 years the Republican-Democrat Ruling Class has waged war against the working class and the middle class, and they have won. Millions of working class jobs have disappeared, and real wages for the working class have declined substantially. Millions have been driven into penury and onto the welfare rolls. Heroin has replaced meth as the working class drug of choice.
Real incomes for the middle class have also declined, and middle class jobs are disappearing, too. H1B visa recipients are taking over the jobs of native americans even in this country.
All of this has enriched the members of the Republican-Democrat Ruling Class, and people are beginning to know it.
Any candidate who focuses on the real issues of immigration and trade can win the Presidency regardless of his personal issues, even a renegade Ruling Class member like Trump. The other members of the Ruling Class know this, and they know that such a candidate is a direct threat to their own wealth. But they cannot adopt Trump’s issues because class solidarity and threats keep them in line.
It is entirely possible that Trump will fail to win the Presidency. If it appears likely he can, he will be assassinated.
Would he be a good President? Don’t know. We’ve had so many bad ones during my lifetime, I think the odds are he would fail, too. Of course, everyone of the other candidates would be worse.
A large fraction of the Republican base in in revolt against the people who have stolen their lives, and they will support anyone who promises to help them regardless of his history.
The base is not going away. Their next candidate will be a true revolutionary.
Trump is a result of Obama. The Dem’s elected their petulant man-child in ’08 and after eight years of that idiot the GOP base is putting up their version.
Who knows what kind of president he’ll be? Considering that ¡Jebe! crashed and burned, I pretty sure that voters are sick of the status quo so even if Hillary remains unindicted she won’t win. And Sanders is a joke, popular only with children and the addled.
I can only hope that Trump won’t screw up too badly.

In the lonely hours in the middle of the night Trump wakes up in a cold sweat realizing that the con he’s pulling to get attention could mean he may actually have to govern a nation of 300 million. He hasn’t a clue about any of it. Bluster, bravado, and fakery have been his guiding principles all his life. And when they don’t work he resorts to insults, petty revenge, and lawsuits. He’s about to have at his disposal what’s left of the worlds only superpower military, a nuclear arsenal, and the embedded infrastructure of a budding police state.
