I add this because you would rather blame a democrat mayor who’s power was taken away.

Haven;t watched it, so don’t know how relevant this is;
Hayek wrote about the Greeks that they didn’t produce so many geniuses from any biological advantage, but because their socio-economic systems was conducive to genius.
Seemed reasonable to me when I read it. Since then I’ve been reading the human biodiversity types. Some populations just have higher average IQs than others. Move the bell curve a standard deviation the the right and the percentage geniuses does up significantly.
And, a nominally higher IQ population might also develop better, more efficient economic conditions, feeding into the Hayek’s argument.
