Just Like The Soviet Union But With Democracy

Reason Magazine has a story about Secret Police and Informants.

It happens at Ole Miss.

It happens at Florida State.

I think this explains why kids are turning against prohibition. Notice the pig about 5:30 into the video. And for all you animal lovers I mean no disrespect to pigs. But when a supposed human turns into one…..

Back in the day, when I was a university student hitching to campus, I got a ride from a short-haired guy who told me he had recently gotten out of the Army, which explained his short hair. He went on to say that because of his short hair, no one would sell him any weed. He asked me for some weed sources, and gave me a phone number.

I asked some friends, but never followed up on giving the short haired guy a source.

Four or five months later, two friends [one of whom had left school the year before]- not acquaintances of those whom I had asked about a weed source- got busted for selling. Their “customer” had given them the same line which I had gotten, which led me to suspect that their “customer” was the same person who had asked me for a source . Had I followed thorough, I could have been busted. The irony here being that while I was a user, I was such a low level user that I had never purchased.

My friends got probation, so it could have been worse. Nonetheless, they were not sellers, but users who got burned doing a “favor.”

The narcs didn’t try to go after the higher source suppliers who had sold to my friends.

The mother needs to sue them, personally if possible. Here is a link to a very similar case that I have personal knowledge of because Jeremy was my partner’s cousin. The story leaves out several details, including the fact that his grandfather, “Mick” McLean was a retired judge, and his aunt Noelle, also an attorney, is currently married to the Kelso, WA police chief.
The local drug task force was lucky to get off with a $375,000 settlement. Bastards!
