I started posting this phrase around a few months back and now I’m staring to see it more and more frequently.
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.

that’s so wrong i dont know how to start. there arent any new offices, just the same old government buildings. theres no swarms of officers, the military is smaller than ever. and eating out thier substance is just obscene, you prevert.
I believe we started a revolutionary war to stop no taxation with out representation. I will admit gerrymandering districts so the side that gets the most votes gets the least representatives as in pennsylvania where the democrats got nearly a million more votes then republicans but most of the democrats were gerrymandered into five large districts and republicans won in eleven smaller districts. But I don’t read any complaints here about that.
The opposite is done in Illinois. Republicans are frozen out.

I really wouldn’t put any in the idea you popularized the phrase. People who aren’t Dumbocrats have been saying that about Obama for years.

Instapundit not least has been using the “He has erected … out their substance” quote for years to describe Obama.
