Well, I always liked Rand Paul’s “End The Drug War” policy. I’m liking his foreign policy as well. As to Assad. Yes. He is an ally of Iran. But if he goes down the Sunnis in the opposition are going to murder a LOT of people who belong to the wrong religion.

I like him. Graham and McCain are idiots.
He is starting to waffle under neo-con attacks. Iran isis ect.
Well Hillary ain’t perfect either.
While you look for perfection I judge by better/worse.
It doesn’t matter hillary wins in 2016. Democrats have out bred southern republican white trash.
But if he goes down the Sunnis in the opposition are going to murder a LOT of people who belong to the wrong religion.
They’re doing that anyway, both ways.
Syria was a heating up of the war between Sunni and Shia and it’s spreading all over the mideast.
Hezbollah V Isis is just one aspect of it.
Hezbollah and Isis are also fighting all the other believers in the wrong type of Islam. They fight the Sunni-Shia fight but they also fight the “You don’t believe in the correct type of (Sunni/Shia)!!”
The Romans stayed in power for centuries partly by keeping the barbarians on their borders fighting each other instead of Romans.
That’s what Obama’s done, albeit not on purpose.
His foreign policy is exactly right. The problem is that people will naturally believe he’s his father’s son. I like him because he forced Obama to answer the question: can the government kill American citizens without trial, on U.S. soil, by simply declaring them terrorists? I’m voting for him in California’s open primary, and hopefully in the general election.
Cruz is a kook, Rubio a sellout, Walker a catalyst for all out union war, and Bush is Democrat Lite. My prediction? Should Rand Paul get the nomination by some fluke, the Republican Establishment will run a third party spoiler candidate.
Frank,
Rand’s Interview with Katy Couric was up on Yahoo for about a month. I think the “establishment” likes him.
My guess as to why? Drug Prohibition has become inconvenient.
