Not necessarily. Decoupling this allows her to add it to anything.
What they really wanted this time around was universal background checks, so that they can turn them off during the budget wars and other times of their choosing and shut down all firearms sales nationwide at any time.
Mueller of FBI gave the game away last month threatening long delays or simply no approvals due to the sequester. Interestingly enough, this story comes from the HuffPost, hardly a Second Amendment supporter. Cheers –
