All is calm, NOT!

‘Tis the night before Christmas. And all through the house, there’s a creature who’s stirring, ’cause she thinks I’m a louse!

I refer to Coco, of course, whom I earlier tried to drag into the spirit of Christmas present against her will.

Yes, she squirmed to get away and I held her tightly!

Shockingly, I even made her wave at the camera. (God help me with the PETA crowd!) She doesn’t like being forced to pose, and she is obviously self-conscious of the way the camera flash gives her red-eye. I assured her that red eyes are perfectly appropriate on Christmas Eve, and that they artistically complement the Christmas tree lights and balls so no one will mind. She thinks I’m full of Christmas bullshit, and that I have been brainwashed. As I write this, she is eyeing me with suspicion. All that tappy-tappy-on-the-keyboard business means that I neglect her for no good reason when I could be having lots of fun getting dragged through the snow. Or making her popcorn. Isn’t that right Coco? (Lucky for me, I will not read this post out loud, or I would be in serious trouble. Think I’m kidding? Think again!)
