questioning patriotism

While there’s supposed to be a rule against questioning people’s patriotism, Barack Obama had no problem calling Bush “unpatriotic” when he was running for office. What makes this flashback especially rich is the context. Bush, he claimed, had been “unpatriotic” because he added $4 trillion to the national debt over a period of eight years — a standard Obama has exceeded in less than three years:

Although the national debt under President Barack Obama has increased $4 trillion since he took office in 2009, as a presidential candidate in 2008 Obama criticized then-President George W. Bush for adding $4 trillion to the national debt, saying it was “unpatriotic” and also “irresponsible” to saddle future generations with such a large national debt.

“The problem is, is that the way Bush has done it over the last eight years is to take out a credit card from the Bank of China in the name of our children, driving up our national debt from $5 trillion dollars for the first 42 presidents — number 43 added $4 trillion dollars by his lonesome, so that we now have over $9 trillion dollars of debt that we are going to have to pay back — $30,000 for every man, woman and child,” Obama said on July 3, 2008, at a campaign event in Fargo, N.D.

“That’s irresponsible. It’s unpatriotic,” said candidate Obama.

If adding $4 trillion in eight years is unpatriotic, what does that make adding $4 trillion in three years, with much more to come?

And as to the people who are trying to stop it, why, they are called “terrorists.”

How the rhetoric changes!

At this rate, someone will be be saying that one man’s terrorist is another man’s patriot.

As to whether that constitutes moral relativism, why, it all depends!

Obama just needs to go away where he came from-???????. i hope to God, that when he doesn’t win a second term, that the authorities go after him tooth and nail regarding the birth certificate, the social security number, the ‘impeachable’ act of not upholding the constituion and giving all illegal alieans a pass….etc…maybe, just maybe all of his policies will be reversed
