“there is no mathematically sound way to fix our problems through legislation alone.”

This email was forwarded to me but it was written by Eric Odom, a libertarian Tea Party activist, and I thought I would share it with readers here. It’s long, so I’m putting the text in the extended area, lest people read it and mistake it for one of my posts.

As to whether Odom is being unnecessarily alarmist, I don’t know. I read different opinions all the time, and I often feel as if I am adrift in a sea of ever-louder, ever-shriller, ever-more paranoid opinions. I worry that I may drown.

Is it “true” that there is no hope?

Am I in “denial” if I hope not?

The total collapse of the United States economy is certainly not a fun thing to contemplate.

I should probably find it more depressing than I do.

Hey, maybe if I cheer up I can get depressed!

Eric Odem has put it into words well. He totally gets what is coming. Listen up everyone and prepared for what is coming as you are able. I have sensed this for a while now; there is an urgency. My prayer is God have mercy and help us.

Friends in the movement, family members and folks in my network,

This is perhaps the most difficult and meaningful email I’ve ever written. Please read the entire email with an open mind and carefully consider every word written.

Today is Good Friday. This day leads us into a weekend through which I hope we’ll all keep in mind the importance of what Easter weekend stands for.

While I would love to deliver good news, I unfortunately write you to suggest a very, very serious problem in America. The reason I write you this today, this Good Friday evening, is to ask that you be mindful of what I’m about to tell you and pray for our nation as we go through the weekend and the months ahead.

Earlier this year during President Obama’s “State of the Union” address something switched on inside me and since then… I’ve never been the same. Up until that point I was optimistic about our chances to save the nation we all grew up with and loved.  I’m not suggesting it can’t be saved, but I do feel that as we fight for our liberty we must also prepare for every potential outcome.

Yesterday I wrote a blog post about “The Greatest Theft in The History of Man.” I followed that post with a new one today that provides an example of how we’re being robbed and where the money is going.

[1] http://activistsandairplanes.com/2011/04/21/the-greatest-financial-theft-in-the-history-of-man/

[2] http://activistsandairplanes.com/2011/04/22/christy-mack-a-life-of-luxury-on-stolen-taxpayer-dollars/

Those two posts received a combined 15,000 unique visits over night. Many, no, most of the comments on those two posts were in agreement with what I’m suggesting. Unfortunately, many of the emails I received from people I’ve known for some time tell a different story.

I’m simply dumbfounded that I’ve presented solid evidence of mass theft of the U.S. Treasury ($14 TRILLION DOLLARS) that was orchestrated by people who run the Federal Reserve Bank, and the spoils were legally funneled into the accounts of financial institutions on Wall Street… yet so many people I know and trust reply with accusations of conspiracy theories and “crazy talk.”

There is no doubt in my mind that our nation is about to experience extraordinary financial hardship. We’ve spent ourselves so deeply into debt that it is no longer mathematically possible for us to legislate our way out of it.

Simply put, the Federal Reserve and U.S. Treasury spent our money coordinating the world markets, giving Wall Street Bankers unlimited funds for Manhattan mansions, private jets, hookers and blow. They spent our social security and many of our retirement funds in a circle of games aimed at gripping power in both Washington and the world.

They did all of this legally, with no accountability and no Congressional oversight. None of this is secret. It’s all out there and easy to find.

What I cannot understand is why we have crooks and thugs like Timothy Geithner at the U.S. Treasury (Geithner was head of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York when the $800 BILLION transfer of wealth happened) and not a single Congressman/woman or Senator does a thing about it.

If we have true patriots in Congress, where are they? Why are they arguing over $38 billion when $14 trillion was stolen from America and funneled into the pockets of financial institutions around the world?

What’s worse is that we have a completely rogue President and Congress just lets him do his dirty work with no significant effort to stop him.

Think about it… Congress passes a bill to strip Obama of his Dictatorship style “Czars,” and his office releases a statement that it will ignore that portion of the bill.

Really? What ever happened to balance of power?

Or how about the recent Federal Judge who ruled Obamacare is not Constitutional? Remember what the White House did? Obama’s crew of thugs basically put out a statement that said the ruling would be ignored because… well… because the White House believed the judge was wrong.

Is this really happening?

Folks, we have a completely rogue government that is enabling the full scale theft of taxpayers and is THE REASON we’re about to spiral into bankruptcy as a nation. And we’re somehow hoping this same government comes up with a way to solve the problem?

If we’re sitting around waiting for that to happen then we deserve what’s coming.

For those of you standing around saying “2012 will change all of that,” I ask you… how in the hell do you think our economy will hold that long?

The S&P is warning us that it’s coming. Economists are telling us exactly what is around the corner.

Heck, even the Federal Reserve is working overtime to hide the fact that we’re already in a depression and we’ve been there for three years. The only reason it isn’t blatantly obvious is because the Fed is PRINTING MONEY to hide reality.

Gas prices aren’t going up because oil is getting more expensive… gas prices are going up because the dollar is weakening. The dollar is weakening because they’re PRINTING MONEY.

The collapse is coming, friends. It’s not a matter of if; it’s a matter of when.

Unfortunately there is more bad news to deliver…

The coming collapse is no accident. George Soros, Rich Trumpka, Van Jones, Hillary Clinton and the rest of their ilk all need this to happen. Let me explain my theory…

Many of us who see the writing on the wall believe a major catastrophe will occur that marks the end of liberty and the beginning of chaos. I’m not convinced it will be this obvious.

My theory is that Soros and his minions need it to be a bit less chaotic. Please, hear me out on this.

The entire political power base surrounding Barack Obama has openly admitted it wants a global government with a global currency. If you don’t believe this to be the case then stop reading, because the writing is on the wall and there is nothing more I can say or show you to convince you of what is right in front of your eyes.

The final stumbling block standing in their way is the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Granted, I believe these documents have been trampled and are no longer acknowledged in federal government agencies.  (TSA, for example..)

But even though they ignore our rights as Americans, they still currently must somewhat function within the constraints of the U.S. government structure. AKA… the Supreme Court, Senate, Congress and White House.

Their agenda of global government can only fully thrive once this structure is removed and our nation is absorbed into a global economy/governing body.

Now, Obama’s win in 2008 proves that when circumstances appear so deeply in trouble, a simple, shallow message of change and hope will convince some 60,000,000 or so Americans to vote for someone with no coherent plan or strategy.

In fact, those 60 million voters supported this man, even though it wasn’t hidden that his agenda included a path to wealth redistribution and more taxpayer slavery to the Federal Reserve and financial industry.

Obama’s background was wide open for the public to explore. This man’s relationship with radicals such as Bill Ayers and Reverend Wright was no hidden fact. Obama’s ideas on radical removal of rights and open desire for socialism was known by the world.

Why then did so many people opt for him as President? There are many reasons, of course. Some racially motivated, some agenda driven… others more grounded in ignorance of reality.

Regardless of the reasons, though, the fact remains the majority of Americans chose a radical Dictator who promised “hope and change” would come should he be President.

Why then would we assume another empty message of hope would not succeed when the economic situation is 100 times worse? I mean, the narrative war is heavily stacked against us.

Think about it… Obama is saying he’s going to take money from the “rich” and “invest” it in our future. Republicans have no way to squirm out of the message that they’re plan requires we all give up benefits we’ve worked hard for over many, many years.

When the economy collapses, and it will, which message do you think will be accepted by a generally dumbed down and ignorant society?

When the nation can no longer afford to eat, drive or sleep in warmth… when fathers can’t feed their children, when mothers can’t afford diapers for their infants… which message do you think will prevail?

At that point the majority of Americans will likely accept whatever “offer” provides a quick end to the misery.

My assertion is the only acceptable offer will include a complete surrender of our rights and an immediate move to have a global body “absorb” the wounded American infrastructure.

Remember, this is what our powerful enemies have already told us they want to happen. Why would we not believe them? But in order for it to be possible, they need unrest and they need a total economic crash.

I know most of you are reading this thinking “that’s absurd and just not possible.” I can’t force anyone to accept the reality in front of us, but I do hope you’ll at least take some time to look into this yourself.

Just five years ago I would have NEVER believed you if you said a citizen working for the “transportation security administration” could legally and openly violate my 4th Amendment Right. Yet, the TSA is in CONSTANT violation of the 4th Amendment every minute of every day.

That isn’t absurd or impossible… that’s a fact.

And guess what? The government is coming after the 1st and 2nd Amendment very, very quickly. If you think free speech and the right to arm yourself will never be taken away, you’re in for a harsh surprise.

Mark my words… it’s coming.

The biggest question I’ve been asking myself over the past few days is “where is the outrage?” and “why are Republicans not doing anything about it?”

I’m not sure what the answers to those questions are. With regards to Congress, especially the “tea party” members of Congress, I can only speculate as to why the silence exists.

Could it be that these members immediately slipped into the mode of fearing potential political ramifications of shining the light on this? Quite possible. Our opponents have become quite professional in their ability to label genuine questions as “fringe” and “extreme.”

It’s also true that by exposing what’s really happening we’re suggesting a political earthquake should occur. Meaning, the entire game changes. Everything.

This may seem simple and much needed for you and I, but for someone who in just a few months became a part of the Washington scene… it’s not quite that simple.

Members of Congress have close friends serving in their staff ranks. Some of these staffers have been part of their campaigns and political efforts for much of their lives.

Members of Congress also have friends in the business community, the political environment and the institutions that serve the Washington system.

The political earthquake that needs to happen turns all of that on its head. Lives change… many… and in very big ways. I’m not convinced there is a single member in Congress willing to openly invite this earthquake.

In fact, I believe most of them have allowed themselves, out of fear of what the earthquake means, to believe that if they hold out long enough they might find a way to fix the problems through the current process.

This will ultimately prove to be a failed mindset, however, because as I mentioned earlier there is no mathematically sound way to fix our problems through legislation alone.

Furthermore, these members must realize their opponents are just delaying them. Most Democrats have made it clear they have no interest in fixing the debt problem. They’ve also made it clear they will stonewall any attempts that appear to make significant changes to the current infrastructure.

I’m not suggesting we just give up the fight and go hide. In fact, we need to step up the fight and work five times as hard to expose this reality.

But in the mean time, we also need to seriously consider the possibility that a day is on the horizon where the unprepared will be caught up in a terrible corner.

I believe that day is coming, and I believe a lot of you are unprepared.

For what it’s worth… these are my thoughts and I hope they bring meaningful thoughts to your life and your efforts to preserve liberty in America.

God bless the patriot movement!

For Liberty,

-Eric Odom

More people are noticing the endy part of the Funniest End of Civilization Ever, but ignoring the funny.
We’re all screwed and there’s nothing we can do as our fine intellectual, social, moral and political betters ignore and/or rail against reality.
Reality gets in the way of doing what’s right.
And there are the ones who couldn’t care less about reality so long as they get more and more power.
Some global warmmongers actually believe in it, but the more powerful ones don’t.
Do you think Harry Reid cares crap one about global worming? He likes the power he gets with each and every “eco” law that gets passed.
Bloomberg doesn’t care about trans-fats or guns or whatever, he cares about power, pure and simple.
So what we have are the decision makers making decisions based on non-factual “facts”. Of course we’re all screwed.
And our fine media believes it all. Not just Minitrue, but other outlets not associated with Minitrue, like Foxnews or the Wash Times.
They draw their people from same pool of lazy, ignorant, stupid and/or biased tools as the NY Times or MSNBC.
So we see fools arguing over whether we’re right to be in Libya when nobody knows what the heck we’re trying to do while we’re there.
Or we see Syria going on the UN human rights commission the very week they’re busying using tanks to shoot into unarmed crowds.
Or we see Congress arguing over $38 billion in cuts when our budget deficit this year is over a $trillion and our overall deficit is roughly the amount of our GDP.
    We’re screwed.
Weimar Germany is pretty much the best case scenario these days (the inflation, not the nazis), while Zimbabwe would be a little better than “worst”.
So enjoy the show, because once it’s not funny, it’s going to be ugly.

    My thoughts are…
    yep and yep.
The Republic is dead. Now , am “I” in denial to hope it might someday be reborn?

The republic isn’t dead. It’s merely resting. I’m here, and I’m not alone. We’ll come back from this. You know we can. Hopefully it won’t be too bad along the way

Am I in “denial” if I hope not?”
Perhaps, but it’s a good denial.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not rooting for us being screwed (I’m actually rooting against it) I just think we are.

    Will,
If you are in denial, I’m in the same form.
But it’s going to take a BIG kick in the ‘collective’ butt before we reject socialism. As Veeshir said, “it’s going to be ugly.”
(And, like Veeshir, I’m hoping I’m wrong about us being screwed in the short term. And hoping you and I are right about the long term.)

Manhattan mansions, private jets, hookers and blow
If we legalized blow we could reduce costs considerably in that area. I don’t know what to do about the rest.
    But something like this:
    http://powerandcontrol.blogspot.com/2011/04/catching-wave.html
Could throw off enough profits to paper over our difficulties for quite some time. Which is about the best you can hope for. Or get.

  7. M. Simon Avatar

    We’ll come back from this.
    Stronger than ever.

the majority of Americans chose a radical Dictator
More like American Idol. “The First…..” and “historical”.
Which is why I have some hope. You can only pull that trick once.
And we are coming off a tremendous 2010 victory which is slowing things down if not reversing them and already these folks are moaning because a partial (though resounding) victory did not give full results.
What is a matter with these people?

I would expect to see some math in a post called “no mathematically sound way…” I don’t even see it in the two ActivistsAndAirplanes pages.
