I realize some people have personal stakes in the liberal versus conservative dichotomy, but is there any end to this conservative liberal diagnostic crap?
If you want to tell whether someone is conservative or liberal, what are a couple of completely nonpolitical questions that will give a good clue?
How’s this: Would you be willing to slap your father in the face, with his permission, as part of a comedy skit?
And, second: Does it disgust you to touch the faucet in a public restroom?
Studies suggest that conservatives are more often distressed by actions that seem disrespectful of authority, such as slapping Dad. Liberals don’t worry as long as Dad has given permission.
Likewise, conservatives are more likely than liberals to sense contamination or perceive disgust. People who would be disgusted to find that they had accidentally sipped from an acquaintance’s drink are more likely to identify as conservatives.
Mean people suck! And nice people swallow!

I took some of those tests and was impressed with how little the difference often was between conservatives and liberals.
Also it was amazing how often my scores were not close to either. I’m a freak.
No wonder liberals make me sick.

I find tranzies to be the type more likely to avoid all human contact for fear of dread disease, as in the disgust with public lavatories, so the analysis is wrong from the start.
This is one of those characteristics that demonstrate my belief that the progressives’ claims to love and care for people is a lie.
Actually – the disgust axis has one thing going for it… a study was done recently that tried to prove that conservatives are less perceptive/complex, etc. What the man found was that – whether you think it’s better or worse, , that conservatives actually employ a more COMPLEX thought patern, that includes two additional value axes that most liberals pretty much avoid. One of these relates to sacred/profane and the feeling of disgust, etc.
Both of those questions actually fall in lne with the additional axes that liberals (relying on mostly three of the five) basically don’t use.
