I have to leave at the crack of dawn, and I’ll be gone for the holidays, so I may or may not have time for blogging.
With any luck, there might be some posts, though.
Happy thanksgiving!
UPDATE: What the hell. I might as well leave readers with a picture, as I know I wouldn’t want to come here and read a post with nothing to see except a “happy thanksgiving” announcement.
So here’s the most dramatic turkey picture I could find.
Yes, it’s the largest turkey in the United States — at least it was until a tragic incendiary incident.
Remember, only you can prevent turkey fires!

Happy Thanksgiving, Eric!
Here in Berkeley, its “Happy Tofurkey Day.” An 8 pound tofurkey (a tofu turkey with tofu drumsticks) sells for $40.00. Most Berkeley supermarkets have them. Vegan, soy-based, lactose-free gravy costs $5.00 to $8.00 extra. I’ve never eaten tofurkey, but I know people who have, and they say it tastes as good as it sounds!
Great picture. Happy Thanksgiving!
this is quite something ….
Four American Contractors Reportedly Kidnapped in Iraqi Convoy Attack

Considering that turkeys are a bit slow on the uptake, I’m thinking maybe it’s a Buddhist turkey committing self-immolation in protest of the Diem regime in Vietnam….
