Considering Newsweek’s latest horror, I guess I really didn’t need to frame my previous question along the lines of whether it’s more disrespectful to burn the flag or the Koran.

Taken together with the Koran toilet story, what does all this mean? That when Newsweek puts out trash they forget to burn it?
I don’t know. Perhaps I’m forgetting about the important role played by recycling. (Compost as well as green-friendly techniques.)

The issue is the US’s loss of status and moral authority throughout the world. We should take this seriously since it is real. I realize that in the faith-based universe, this is treason, but you need to start looking at these things critically.
The specific issue is, is NEWSWEEK (and much else in the MSM) merely reporting on “the US’s loss of status and moral authority” in the world, or are they actively encouraging it?
David Howe: If Newsweek truly felt that it was in the US interest to confront these issues, shouldn’t they have included the Moravcsik article in the US edition? And why the offensive Japanese cover?
One gets the sense that Newsweek has no problem literally trashing the American flag overseas, while they act very differently here at home.
“Newsweek” (“Newspeak”) is obviously infested with Communists, alienated, rootless, soulless, Godless intellectuals, the waste-products of a decaying hyper-civilization, as Spengler long ago warned us. I prefer traditional Christians, loyal Jews, and my ancient Polytheist ancestors.
