Better Than Theory Predicts

Dave Price at Dean Esmay has done a post that I should have done. He is discussing Physicist Rick Nebel's report on the latest Polywell Fusion experiments.

Dean goes into the technical nitty gritty of the report (and has a link to where the discussion took place) and if that interests you by all means give Dave a look (In fact do it anyway, Dave is worth your time. Or as I might have put it were I in a humorous mood: The Price is right.).

So let me give you the short version:

1. The machine is working way better than the usual theories predict
2. No one knows why (lots of suspicions floating around)
3. New instruments are being added
4. The current machine is called WB-7. WB 7.1 (no details) is in progress.

All this is very good news. It means what they have learned so far warrants further efforts.

"Why hasn't Polywell Fusion been funded by the Obama administration?"

Because Democrats are opposed to reliable energy and the economic activity it brings? Look at their policies -- they appear to be opposed to any energy source that isn't unreliable, regional, or too inconvenient to be usable.

No need to ascribe to malice what can adequately explained by obscurity. How many congressmen of either party have heard of a polywell?

Bill,

More than you would think, John McCain for instance took an interest. There are others.

OTOH less than I would like. OTOH The new Energy Secretary is familiar with Polywell and may have conversed at length with Bussard.

BTW the Obama Administration could get off the hook by saying that nuclear fusion was not on the curriculum at Community Organizer school.

And besides I'm a lawyer.

Instead of political fencing, we all need to encourage the powers that be - on both sides of the aisle.

Think Bilderberg Group, Trilateral Commission, Club of Rome, Council on Foreign Relations.

The Goal is to create energy catastrophe - not prevent it. Kinda like the banking crisis they created, but much bigger.

Stephen Chu received $500 million in payolla from British Petroleum for ludicrous Biofuel research - which is a guaranteed road to nowhere. A way to suck up funds from legitimate research.

Like it or not, Obama is one of THEM! Of course Obama & Hilary both quietly attended the Bilderberg secret meeting last spring in Chantilly, Virginia.
