HAPPY NEW YEAR!

This will probably be my last post of the year, and I've been so busy that I barely found time to get online and write it. The house is so torn up that I've been basically camping out while working, although I only have about ten days of this to go.

The house has needed major redoing, inside and out. Cracks everywhere!

As well as the usual problems that come from deferred maintenance.

And putting nearly everything away in boxes...

Work or not, pretty soon it'll be party time.

Meanwhile, in the real world, the Obama Birth Certificate Truthers have taken to the tabloids!

I shudder to imagine the important news I'm missing, but at least it's the end of the year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

Price of a Bay Area dump= Price of Midwest Mansion. Though the brick of this house is intriguing. It has potential. I grew up in a house being rehabbed a room at a time, so I know what it's like. Deferred maintenance quite possibly due to Berserkley rent controls. Are you going to be discreet in expressing your opinions with your Berserkley neighbors? Or more discreet than in Ann Arbor?

Aren't you glad Obama wasn't born on an airplane?

Huh, now that a reputable paper like the Globe has the story, I'm going to have to look into it.
I mean, it's not as if the story is being covered by a dishonest rags like the NY Times or Wash Post.
