Another day, another uncomfortable "association"
M. Simon sent me an email link to a remarkable (apparently true) revelation about Barack Obama's Communist mentor Frank Marshall Davis. If this account is correct, in an autobiography the man admitted to sex with a 13 year old. A girl, by the way. While more people would be upset had this happened with a boy (not sure about the logic behind that), pedophilia is still pedophilia. I've known pedophiles, but their activities disgust me, and I tend to agree with M. Simon, who said this about the Davis matter: I have nothing against kinky sex. Some people like it. Most others don't. And America is a free country. We have room here for all kinds. However, statutory rape seems to be pushing the envelope a little far.Replying to Simon's email, I asked, While associating with pedophiles does not make a person a pedophile, is it presidential?Again, the association thing. Sure, I can associate with anyone I want, but I'm not running for president. And if Frank Marshall Davis was Obama's mentor, we're talking more than an ordinary association. This kind of stuff is decidedly uncomfortable (at least it makes me uncomfortable), and it's beginning to have an cumulative effect. You know, an uncomfortable association here, an uncomfortable association there, and pretty soon voters might start getting uncomfortable... Eric, you are usually rather humorously level headed and often sarcastically suspect of fringe thinking. So, um...maybe one of us needs a minor tune-up? Hey it could be me, but... Penny · August 24, 2008 10:44 PM

Intuition driven by observation of kindred individuals and situations compels the premise that gang, pedophile and promiscuity aspects, including the spouse, are present in abundance. And probably also domestic violence, always part of the mix. The political philosophy and intent are Maoist, promoting all three activities as evidence of senior leadership perspicacity. He and she are very full suits, possessed of definite, decisive content. Nor are they reticent concerning its genius or telos. David David R. Graham · August 25, 2008 12:29 AM Can anyone name one person Obama hung out with that was a regular American besides his grandparents? Elroy Jetson · August 25, 2008 01:04 AM And what is it we are now defining as "a regular American"? Again: I don't particularly want to stand up for Obama. I am unlikely to vote for him, but that's because of his political views and policies, not whether he hung out with "regular Americans." And what shall we say to liberals who blame blunders in Iraq on conspiracies involving Leo Strauss (probably not a regular American) and Albert Wohlstetter, since Richard Perl once took courses with them? italtrav · August 25, 2008 01:49 AM Elroy, His grandparents were communists. The original report came from the Telegraph UK. Follow the links. In addition dedicated communists were big on destroying bourgeois values. Obama inhaled this stuff with his mothers milk. Was Obama a participant? What are the odds? M. Simon · August 25, 2008 03:36 AM Frank Marshall Davis was a known mentor to Barry Obama when Obama was a young teen. That is the perfect age to indoctrinate a person into a political philosophy. Barry was searching for an identity because he did not look like all the others in school. A black looking child in a white world. However that time frame was promoting ethnic identity i.e.: Black Power. Naturally Barry was vulnerable to that. Barry also indulged in drugs and many self-destructive habits in the typical teenage angst. Davis sexual proclivities were for girls not boys and no evidence indicates he liked boys sexually. Sex with 13-year-old girl is not pedophilia. Many 13 years olds are very physically mature. Davis probably liked them sexually mature but young enough to be moldable in the mind. Just because laws of statutory rape exist does not erase the reality that 12 years olds have been the age of marriage for centuries and only recently considered too young. It is only a fashionable social construct that 13-year-old girls are too young. But in truth many of those 13 years olds are looking for sex so they can feel to be an adult. That is why parents have to be careful to chaperone their girl children because the girls are tempted and there are males that The reality is that girls who indulge in sex at 13 years old often end up prostitutes and then into drugs and are lucky to live to 30. Parents need to be vigilant. Anonymous · August 26, 2008 10:31 AM Post a comment

I'm sure if you look hard enough, you will find that his political, religious, marital, educational and personal views were all also very fully balanced by libertarian, pro-Democracy, pro-capitalist people.
Or, you know, not.
