Jeri Thompson For First Lady

Jeri Thompson

After my most recent bout of depression about Fred's chances in Iowa, I thought it might be a good idea to raise morale a bit. There is nothing like a picture to explain "why we fight".

For God, for country, for the Constitution, for Jeri. And we get Fred in the bargain. I call that a twofer.

Thanks to commenter linearthinker who is one of my low bandwidth readers, but asked for the picture anyway.

Unfortunately, at this point it looks like even promising every American a night with Jeri wouldn't be enough to get Fred! elected.

Still, nice pic.

I'm hoping for a miracle.

FYI: It's Jeri (with one R). We wouldn't want readers Googling the wrong name and coming up empty.

Thanks for the laugh. I wouldn't count Fred out. Much can change very quickly in the primaries. Remember the Dean phenomenon? Or Hillary's inevitablity? I still have hope.

Yes, Jeri with one r. But thanks for the memory. I haven't given up entirely on Fred, but it's not looking good, even when he's standing beside her in that evening gown.

He could still come out with a good showing tonight.

And I hope to high heaven Huckabee falls flat. Have been praying for it, even.

Seems to me many Christians aren't paying attention to Jesus' admonition to be gentle as doves...and wise as serpents.

Webutante,

I found the picture by Googling Jerri. It worked.

I note I get more hits for Jeri. Thanks for that!

I guess I have to change the title. The link will remain the same.

Fred's tie with McCain keeps him in the race. So far so good.

Jen,

I think the Huckster's message is: Be gentle as doves and dumb as rocks.
