Sex scandal, but which sex?
A sex scandal being deliberately kept under wraps by the news media? Involving a Democratic candidate? Anyway, it appears that something is brewing. Glenn linked both of the above, but I can't find any news reports with real dirt or names. Here's what Ron Rosenbaum said: So I was down in DC this past weekend and happened to run into a well-connected media person, who told me flatly, unequivocally that "everyone knows" The LA Times was sitting on a story, all wrapped up and ready to go about what is a potentially devastating sexual scandal involving a leading Presidential candidate. "Everyone knows" meaning everyone in the DC mainstream media political reporting world. "Sitting on it" because the paper couldn't decide the complex ethics of whether and when to run it. The way I heard it they'd had it for a while but don't know what to do. The person who told me )not an LAT person) knows I write and didn't say "don't write about this".Oh and it's not John Edwards Hmmm... Am I allowed to at least ask whether it's a male candidate? posted by Eric on 10.30.07 at 08:58 PM

While the LA Times may be sitting on a Dem sex scandal, another Larry Craig moment is brewing in Washington State. Public questioning her sense of priorities if she was running for President while her marriage fell apart. Joe R. · October 31, 2007 01:54 AM "Am I allowed to at least ask whether it's a male candidate?" Of course it's a male candidate. A sex scandal involving a female candidate would be described as a "homeland terror" story! jetfxr69 · October 31, 2007 06:53 AM Richard Curtis resigned today from the Washington State Legislature. Am I allowed to at least ask whether it's a male candidate?
More likely, a candidate's male spouse...
(no inside knowledge here, but Bill is Bill, and he's still Bill, so wouldn't be surprised if he hasn't had a little fun in his Harlem office)
Possible set up for a dissolution of the marriage? (from an AP story this week)
"I would be campaigning for Hillary even if I was not married to her," former President Clinton said from the altar of the historic church on West 138th Street. "I believe she is the best qualified, best suited non-incumbent ever."
Would it help Hillary if their marriage falls apart, but Bill still campaigns for her?
Of course, I'm hoping it's something minor but entertaining like an amateur sex video in Mrs. Kucinich's past coming to surface.
And does anyone doubt that if the same level of rumor were to swirl around a major GOP candidate that it would already be public?
