Israel gets it. Since the 1970s, on school campuses in Israel, policy requires teachers and parent aides to arm themselves with semi-automatic weapons. The result? School shootings have plummeted to zero.

I was born in Israel in 1970 and I have lived here all my life and I have never seen an armed teacher in Israel .
Since the peace proccess began the schools now hire armed guards but they didn't when I was a kid
It's possible that in certain areas like the borders and the territories there are some armed teachers but certainly not everyone or everywhere
There is also no such thing as a parent aide in Israel
This is just an urban legend

konshtok,
Darn. It is getting so you can't trust the newspapers any more.
Given the pictures and music videos I ran recently of women of the IDF it did not seem unlikely.
I wonder if there is anything that can be believed?
