Less than a shilling . . .
Is Glenn Reynolds shilling for Phil Bredesen (by writing favorably about him in the Wall Street Journal)? Under the circumstances, I hope so. Consider the following from the National Review's Jim Geraghty: Phil Bredesen is a Democrat who has won in the South, obviously. By 2008, will Democrats be seriously seeking a member of their party who has demonstrated an ability to win in a red state? Of course, he faces reelection in 2006.I'd say Bredesen needs all the shillings he can get! (It might not be a shilling, or even a farthing, but it's my two cents worth.) posted by Eric on 02.10.05 at 01:13 PM

Pro-gun, shall-issue, that sounds good to me. The post by Stephanie Estelle Xayananh on Murray S. Davis's Naturalist-Jehovanist-Gnostic spectrum, and how it ties in with the Smith-Anderson spectrum, is now up on Up with Beauty. Two more to go in this particular series on spectrumology, one and then one BIG one. As a Tennessean, bredesen's strengths are that he's not part of the lunatic left and doesn't cater to him.
He's also pro-gun. This is a guy who passed shall-issue class 3 into law.
