Vietnam

My favorite book on Vietnam is:
The Politics of Heroin, CIA Complicity in the Global Drug Trade by Alfred McCoy.

back out of my hole. the vietnam drug issue was a symptom of this disaster. a vietnam veteran talk show host gil gross I believe had robert macnamara on his show to talk about macnamars’s book on the vietnam war. macnamara said many in the johnson administration had doubts about it including myself. gil started yelling at him you sent me over there and you didn’t believe in it! and kicked him off the show! he then apologized to vietnam war protestors saying I was wrong you were right! the interview may be on the internet somewhere if you can find it and put it on it will most illuminating.

MacNamara was a liar. The war was fought over opium in Laos.

The same reason we are in Afghanistan for 17 years.

I couldn’t find the audio or video. Maybe you will have better luck. Leave a link.

Are you starting to catch on why I hate the Drug War?

The scam has been running for 300 years.

it was gil gross interview that I was talking about. not terry gross. mcnamara and the best and the brightest boys were worried about the domino theory that they would be blamed for. remembering who lost china charge. even if you don’t believe it drug dealing was at a lower level. macnamara had bigger fish to fry. you can’t see the forrest the trees keep getting in the way. bill casey and cental ameica iran/contra much better case for you. read dark alliance by gary webb.
