This is not to say that this is what happened in Washington earlier today, but I see no easy way to prevent it from happening.

Too early to tell. But if the story disappears, it was sabotage. I say that from the depths of my cynical heart.
If they jump through endless hoops to “explain” in technical terms no one can understand, I’ll be skeptical. Sometimes the simplest explanation is the correct explanation.
I suspect that may be true here – 80mph in a 30mph zone. BUT I’m still waiting for the ‘fog’ to lift.
