Some rich Black men protest American racism during the National Anthem at NFL football games. Making football political. The politician in chief gets involved.

Hilarity ensues.

Update: 25 September 2017 1047z

Note that one of the Steelers came out and STOOD for the National Anthem.

It’s a bit odd when the right are the protesters.

    Kathy,

It seems like old times. But I was on the other side then.

owners in nascar have out in support of trump. they will fire any driver that takes a knee. they know how to “deal” with uppity negros. in 1963 african-american race car driver wendell scott who drove against factory sponsored team cars as an unsponsored independent driver was told that if he tried to race he would likely be shot. he answered if they kill me they kill me i am racing! he went on to win the jacksonville race but nascar refused to give him the trophy for winning because he would get a kiss from the white trophy girl so they said buddy baker won the race. bubba watson won a truck race this year and couldn’t get a drive the next week! nascar is sexist also danica patrick has been dropped from her team so no women will be racing in nascar main series. jennifer jo cobb is still racing in the nascar truck series even though no team will hire her and she race in and old clunker that she owns. if she is wrecked she has no money and will be out of racing. women drivers can’t get these sexist pigs to let them drive and compete against men. indy cars is no better with pippa mann can’t get a full time drive and only drives when their are more cars then men to drive them.

    Captain,

NASCAR knows their audience. The NFL doesn’t.

Without fans the NFL franchise is worthless.

Most people don’t watch football to get a dose of politics.

The City vs Country divide has been a feature of human politics for 5,000 years or more. Too bad we haven’t figured it out yet.

BTW Captain – it is not 1963 any more.

Back then I was marching. Today I am not.

“BTW Captain – it is not 1963 any more.” In the minds of deranged old leftover hippies, it’s always 1963–when it’s not 1967, or 1933.
