   “The political damage of Donald Trump to the Republican Party is completely overshadowed by the damage he can do to the country and to the world, with his unending reckless and irresponsible statements.”

   Similarly, the left and moderate right freaked out when Reagan called the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics the evil empire:

   “I urge you to beware the temptation of pride—the temptation of blithely declaring yourselves above it all and label both sides equally at fault, to ignore the facts of history and the aggressive impulses of an evil empire, to simply call the arms race a giant misunderstanding and thereby remove yourself from the struggle between right and wrong and good and evil.”

   Which is pretty much what Trump says about Muslim immigration, refuting Obama’s smarmy false equivalence comparing DAESH to the Crusades 600 years ago: ‘Look, we did bad things too.’

   Trump needs to hit domestic terrorism hard. Hillary’s politically korrect I refuse to accept this as normal. We must take action to stop gun violence now. response to San Bernardino should be thrown back in her face early and often.
