First off as I said earlier, he would be a good insurance policy. Who in the oligarchy (I originally spelled it – oiligarchy – which is not far off) would want to knock off Trump for Paul? Second off he would get those Ted Cruz supporters who think Constitutionalism is important. And he would pick up some Bernie supporters who think getting the Feds out of the Prohibition business would be a good idea.
Daily Pundit also has some ideas. One point he makes that favors Paul – “he’ll pick somebody with the political experience to help him deal with congress”.

How about Chris Christie? About that George Washington Bridge lane closure: He was getting even with the mayor of Fort Lee New Jersey. Fort Lee is the NJ end of the GW bridge, probably a few hundred thousand, maybe millions of cars pass through every day commuting into Manhattan. The entire city of Fort Lee exists to collect speeding ticket fines from commuters. Like $200 cash bail or they keep you over night. He wasn’t embracing presidente O’beanwax, he was picking his pocket.
