Blind Faith – Can’t Find My Way Home

I still can’t figure out ( 46 years later) how that album cover got past the censors.

    censorship is uneven.

The original edition of Bow Wow Wow’s album, with the insert featuring Little Annabella for another example.

Different medium, but. Exit was a large format art magazine published in NY ca. mid 80s that went through a small run. A bit like Art Spiegleman’s Raw, but much angrier/punker. One issue had some manufactured ch*!d pr*n, images collaged together from various sources including something like a baby instruction book and nude men from wherever. The appearance of something bad, without any reality. He got in trouble over it.

I can’t either, but still like the song. I think the captain may have it. “censorship is uneven.”

It certainly wouldn’t pass nowadays – and, IIRC, it did cause some scandal back when.

Well, the cover model was all of 11 at the time.

My local library has a copy of this CD available to borrow. Every time I go to the library I grab the CD and flip the cover insert from the boring US one to the original one, not that the bluehairs/bluenoses are ever in the CD stacks.

When I purchased that album it had a sticker placed over the offending image, on the jacket itself, under the shrinkwrap. I recall that one of my Pink Floyd albums came the same way.

I had no mondegreens on that one. “Wasted” is all I ever heard.
