I have been a sceptical of cold fusion for a long time. this article changed my mind. The really good stuff is in the comments – including a reprise of my former scepticism.
This post is a response to a comment by NikFromNYC (good job Nik) who repeated a statement from the post he was commenting on:
“It [Cold Fusion] gives some people the false hope that there are no limits to growth and no environmental price to be paid by having unlimited sources of energy.” – Jeremy Rifkin (NY Times)
Too bad Jeremy. FU.
Of course there is still a LOT of work to be done. And currently there is no universally agreed on theory. But that will come.
