Has the term Obamacare suddenly become the racist equivalent of the N-word?
MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry suggested the term “Obamacare” and the N-word are interchangeable, claiming both were “conceived by a group of wealthy white men who needed to . . . render [a black man] inferior and unequal and diminish his accomplishments.”
Is that just the opinion of one commentator, or does the president no longer want his name attached to Obamacare? (If you think about it, the latter may be a good sign.)
Anyway, the fact is that not long ago, he repeatedly embraced the term:
“When you hear about the Affordable Care Act, ObamaCare… And I don’t mind the name because I really do care. That’s why we passed it.”
Here in Ann Arbor, so many smug liberals sport “I ♥ OBAMACARE” bumperstickers that I couldn’t hope to count them. There’s an industry devoted to cranking out buttons and stickers, which are an official Democratic Party product, are sold at Amazon, and have been promoted at countless liberal websites like DailyKos. Are these all now destined to be blacklisted banned as “racist” products by the forces of PC?
That strikes me as pretty harsh, especially at this time of the year. I would really hate to have to be out there in the freezing temperatures scraping a bumper sticker off my car in this weather, and it makes me feel sorry for the poor dupes.
I guess I’m just a bleeding ♥.

Why does this remind me of 1984?
It is racist to call the Affordable Health Act Obamacare, because Obama is part black. Soon it will be racist to refer the POTUS, as he is part black.
The proper term to refer to the POTUS will become “himself.”

Glenn Beck had a compilation of the media and politicians using the term Obamacare prior to the October rollout. Then he compiled how the media and political types spoke about “The Affordable Care Act” after the debacle of Healthcare.gov. The last line of the pre-debacle compilation was Nancy Pelosi referring to “Obamacare.” The last line of the post debacle compilation was Nancy Pelosi saying, “The Affordable Care Act, as I call it, as I always called it… “
So I’d say the reason it reminds me of 1984 is the memory hole. Which is a different kind of hole than Pelosi sports (pie hole) and is a different kind of hole from what she is – a**hole.
The other thing that this retreat from Obamacare reminds me of is the famous picture of Stalin with his co-revolutionaries where he removes them as they are purged and executed.

Do you understand you have more enemys then wimp liberals like nancy pelosi and barak obama corporate liberals. The black and brown communities and other minorities and white radicals like occupy wallstreet and leftys like me do not think president obama is to far left! We think he is to far to the right! The corperate state puts up wimp liberal to run for president when they think a republican can’t win(like never again!) The hispanic birthrate will prevent a republican from becoming president again! Now hispanics hate you almost as much as black people do! And keep up with your vote surpression it makes minorities not only hate you ;but want to destroy you! Over 150,000 minority kids turn 18 voting age every month and that number increases every month! Thats 7,000,000 million new minority voters for 2016! And the negative birth rate has been reversed thanks to minority birthrate! As the kleons say Revenge is a dish best eaten cold!
