I’m being adopted

The pair of Chickadees who decided to nest in my back porch birdhouse despite my warnings have gotten quite used to humans — and to Coco (which I’m not sure is a wise idea, as she is very jealous, and knows I like them).

Here’s a picture I took earlier of the one I think is the male, sitting on the back door:

And peeking out from his house, holding an insect or something:

Don’t tell Coco!

When I lived in Thailand, had a (mated/mating?) pair of Tokay lizards living on my patio – (there were open windows – or holes, to be honest, high in the walls there).

Cute critters, IMO and the males have a fun (eh eh eh eh) “call – but like birds, they… well… drop. Anywhere. Everywhere. But still cute – and they made a great alarm clock, since they started up at sunrise.

They’d come watch me drink my morning coffee, and I’d make darned sure my morning coffee wasn’t directly beneath either of them.
