Fertile Ground

Neo-Neocon is discussing the state of man/woman relationships in America. Quite a few commenters blame the communists and particularly the Frankfort School although other chief culprits in that vein are mentioned. And they do have a point. Up to a point.

What they are missing is this: what is the ground in which these ideas are fertile? To what kind of psychology are they most attractive? So I left a comment.

OK. The whale+elephant+rhino in the living room.

Those most susceptible to the left are abused children. Ideology has to find fertile ground.

And what do the abused have in abundance? Anger. It has to go somewhere. It goes into destroying the culture that did not protect them.

You have to wonder why the right can’t figure this out. BTW who are the biggest users of illegal drugs? Abused children.

Heroin

Why we aren’t doing more about this on the right amazes me. Probably because it would mean that the cultural right would have to come to terms with why people use illegal drugs. And probably their child rearing practices as well.

You have to be willing to recognize your failures to become a success. i.e. “I had the answer. But it was the wrong one.”

Let me add one more point. Among what segment of the population are the sexual deviances so favored by the Frankfort School most prevalent? Abused children. Especially sexually abused children. The prostitute/abused child connection is almost a cliche these days. And of course the rapee becoming the raper when enough years have passed.

When is the right going to dry up the well so to speak and campaign against child abuse? Or at the very least let the abused pacify themselves with drugs instead of communism/socialism. And please – no more laws. Education should be sufficient to the purpose.

I left a comment at Why Republicans Will Not Shrink Government on the subject and came up with a short phrase that encapsulates my views on the matter.

The secret motto of the leftists: “Got PTSD?
