Israel is not taking Obama’s Middle East Speech well.
When reached via cell phone immediately after President Obama’s speech urging a Palestinian state based on 1967 borders, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s spokesman Mark Regev sounded as though he had been slapped in the face.
Netanyahu swiftly rejected Obama’s call for Israel to pull back to the borders that existed before the 1967 Six-Day War. Roughly translated from Hebrew, a statement from the Prime Minister’s office said that they appreciated Obama’s commitment to peace, but called the pullback to the 1967 borders “indefensible,” and said that the Palestinians were less than an honest partner in the peace process.
Obama not honest? Really? Who could have expected that from a guy with the middle name Hussein?

The video of Obama and Netanyahu talking has a bust displayed over the left shoulder of Netanyahu. Can anyone tell me who is that a bust of?
We need to recognize that the Obama voting groups, blacks, jews, young, poor, etc., didn’t vote for Obama because of a series of facts and logical assumptions, but in spite of facts and logical assumptions.
When will fact-based people stop ignoring this about their opponents? Can you talk an anorexic out of starvation? An anorexic sees a fat blob staring back at her in a mirror even as she becomes a skeleton. Does an alcoholic stop drinking because you explain they will lose their job, family, money if they keep drinking?
Until you make arguments that have meaning to your opponent it’s just so much political masturbation. It makes you feel good but it accomplishes nothing.
Obama voters will supoprt him in 2012 and they put all of the blame for the difference in the failure of their own magical thinking entirely upon Obama. They will support the next Messiah and tell you “this time it’s different.”

So, Obama throws Israel under the bus to continue his masochistic foreign policy of making kissy-face with countries that hate us.

I’m almost at the point where I can think about this without foaming at the mouth. I can’t even imagine why anyone sane (let alone anyone Jewish) wouldn’t see this as the grossest of betrayals!

After Obama said what he said, I called a friend of mine who is Liberal, Jewish and voted for Obama. I was talking trash, telling him he needed to return all his bar mitzvah money and give his yarmulke back. My Jewish, Liberal friend backed Obama 100%.
Then it hit me. A liberal is always a liberal first, then they are Jewish, Catholic, gay, straight, Black, White, Mexican, Polish, German etc…
Then when you show them all the facts, video, letters, transcripts, all beyond any doubt, the only thing they can say is you’re a racist.

American Jews for the most part care nothing for their brothers in Israel. Mostly it is the religious Jews who care.
I’m a pretty secular Jew but I care. I’m an exception. It is funny that I have more in common on this subject with Baptists that I do with Jews. It is a very strange world.
